Bewe Leepharma Inc. (Bewe) is a global-energetic pharmaceutical company with strength in synthetic organic chemistry. Bewe specializes in organic synthesis, process development, and scale-up manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and intermediates.

Bewe is striding forward both in technology innovation and in quality management to upgrade its stand in APIs and intermediates. At Bewe, we redesign, modify, and improve the synthetic procedures for the selected top APIs and key intermediates. Our work ensures that the productivity and yields are both maximized and costs have been minimized. We develop the manufacturing process, minimize API related regulatory issues, and transfer the modified and optimized technologies to cGMP manufacturing facilities.

Bewe is a pioneer and leader in carbohydrate synthetic technology and has extensive expertise in various reaction and isolation procedures for carbohydrate specialty chemicals and derivatives. We develop, commercialize and license proprietary technologies capable of efficiently carrying out the multi-step synthesis of novel carbohydrates which are tailored for drug design and discovery.

Bewe also offers custom synthesis and contract research services. Our mission is to partner with clients to meet their strategic objectives by providing expert knowledge, reliable service, and high quality and unique products from research to commercial applications. We dedicate and direct our capabilities and resources to discovering drugs.

Bewe is centrally located in Toronto of Canada, and within easy driving from New York, Washington, Ottawa and Chicago. With venture investment, Bewe has established a world class R&D and production complex base in Sichuan province of China to manufacture APIs and intermediates under cGPM standard in annual capacity of tons. The state-of-the-art R&D laboratory and multi- purpose pilot plants occupy an area of 60 acres and are equipped with the latest computational & medicinal chemistry, process development, scale-up synthesis, analytic method development and validation.
